It is a prescription-only and CNS (central nervous system) stimulant medication. It is a combination medicine that comprises amphetamine and dextroamphetamine and both act as active ingredients.
There are other branded medicines in which these two components are used like Mydayis and Adderall XR. The combination medication is approved by the U.S. FDA (Food and Drug Administration). Generally, it is approved for treating neurodevelopmental and sleeping disorders.

Capsule (ER): The extended release is in the form of a capsule with dosage strengths such as 5mg, 10mg, 15mg, 20mg, 25mg, and 30mg.
Tablet (IR): The immediate release is in the form of a tablet. The dosage strengths are 5mg, 7.5mg, 10mg, 12.5mg, 15mg, 20mg and 30mg.
Dosage Administration
The initial suggested dose is 10 mg in children who are between 6 to 17 years old. In adults, 20 mg is the advised dose that should be taken in the morning.
